The dermatologist:

- started me on UVB light treatment, starting today (3 days a week, must be a day gap between visits)

- confirmed it condition was still in the getting worse stage

Initial hypnotherapy session to help me cope with itching and sleep. Not expecting miracles however I did come out relaxed and had a decent nights sleep, the first in a while.

a rare nights sleep

A relatively good nights sleep. Lots of shuffling but I didn't think I was itchy.  When I woke I thought I hadn't been shedding but when I took off my top my arms had a lot of skin flakes

A break from the itching

After over a week of constant itence shedding I have noticed this afternoon the shedding has stopped and the itching has generally been relaxed by a burning pain.
-today was the first day of real sunshine and I did spend 30 mins in the sun to see what would happen, however the change in symptoms have effected all parts of my arms and thighs, not just the forearms which were exposed to the sun.
